There have been many R&D projects in which the Faculty Staff has been involved. Some of the recent ones include:

• Multi-scale investigation of chemical looping combustion of biomass pellets towards negative CO2 emission, WPC3/2022/44/MSLimitCo2/2024, 2024-2027
• CCS-CCU technology for carbon footprint reduction using bio-adsorbents, PPI/APM/2019/1/00042/U/00001, NAWA Program, 2019-2022
• Reduction of carbon footprint with the use of CCS-CCU technology and bioadsorbents, NAWA Program, 2019-2021.
• Network of Service Providers for Eco-innovations in Manufacturing SMEs, Financed by the Baltic Sea Interreg Program, 2014-2020.
• Water in soil – satellite monitoring and improving the retention using biochar, Project financed by the Polish National Centre for Research and Development in the framework of “Environment, Agriculture and Forestry” – BIOSTRATEG strategic R&D programme, contract No. BIOSTRATEG3/345940/7/NCBR/2017, 2017-2021.
• Long-term research activities in the area of advanced CO2 Capture Technologies for Clean Coal Energy 612699. Project financed by EU’s 7th Framework Marie Curie Program: International Research Staff Exchange Scheme, 2014-2017.
• Economically efficient and socially accepted CCS/EOR processes. Cooperation between Poland and Norway, Pol-Nor/234830/10 3/2014, 2014-2017.
• Innovative Idea for Combustion of Solid Fuels via Chemical Looping. Cooperation between Poland and Norway, Pol-Nor/235083/1 04/2014, 2014-2017.
• Educative CCS Centrum, FSS/2014/HEI/ W/0122, financed by Poland and Norway, 2015-2016.
• Implementation of innovations in the field of energy and fertilizer processing of sewage sludge and biodegradable waste, reducing the negative impact on the environment in a coastal tourist region (project no. NORW.19.01.01-22-0003/20)
